Coaching Terms & Agreement Summary
Last updated August 10, 2026. This plain-language summary does not replace the full signed Coaching Agreement, which governs all services.
Monthly billing
Plans are billed monthly in advance and include 4, 8, or 12 in-person sessions per monthly billing cycle. The listed total controls. A month with five occurrences of a usual training day does not add a session. Plans renew until canceled under the signed agreement. No initiation fee is charged unless later disclosed.
Renewal and cancellation
Students may stop the next monthly renewal with written notice at least seven days before the next billing date. Canceling renewal does not ordinarily refund the current cycle except where required by law or the signed agreement.
Appointment cancellations
With at least 24 hours’ notice, a session may be rescheduled during the current cycle, subject to availability. Late cancellations and no-shows generally count. If timely notice is given but Dakota cannot offer a reasonable same-cycle make-up, one session may carry forward. It expires 30 days after the original cycle and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Coach cancellations
A session canceled by Dakota will be rescheduled, carried forward, or appropriately credited. It will not be forfeited by the student.
Late arrivals
Appointments begin and end as scheduled. A student arriving late receives the remaining reserved time. Any extension is discretionary and depends on later commitments.
Questions and education
Questions are welcome during appointments. Substantial discussion, research, or review may be handled by follow-up, a scheduled check-in, the next appointment, or a separate consultation.
Messaging
Messaging is for brief coaching questions, scheduling, readiness updates, limited feedback, and plan clarification. Messages are reviewed on business days and normally answered within one business day. It is not emergency support, medical care, unlimited consultation, or immediate-response service.
Form review
One request equals up to two short clips of the same movement with one focused question. Dakota may request a shorter clip, another angle, or context. Unused reviews do not accumulate indefinitely.
Pauses
One planned pause up to 30 days during each six-month period may be requested with at least seven days’ notice. Recurring times may not remain available. Medical, disability, military, and other protected circumstances are handled under the agreement and applicable law.
Facility and travel costs
Published prices exclude separate gym memberships, guest passes, facility charges, field rental, admission, or travel unless a proposal expressly states otherwise.
Refunds and statutory rights
All cancellation and refund rights required by law are preserved. Website terms do not replace a complete signed coaching agreement.
Session duration
Appointments are scheduled for 60 minutes. Any brief extension is discretionary and not a recurring benefit.
Assessment fee
The Discovery & Assessment is $250, separate from monthly coaching, and not automatically credited to the first month.
Athlete Compass
Athlete Compass is an educational, self-reported training-orientation tool. It uses information provided by the visitor to identify possible training priorities and suggest an appropriate starting pathway or program.
Athlete Compass is not a medical assessment, medical clearance, diagnosis, treatment, physical therapy, an individualized clinical recommendation, or a substitute for Dakota’s Discovery & Assessment. A Compass recommendation does not guarantee that a particular exercise or program is appropriate for every individual.
Where health history, current symptoms, uncertainty, or individual complexity warrants additional review, Athlete Compass may recommend professional guidance or individualized coaching before higher-intensity training.
A separate readiness intake may inform coaching decisions but is not itself medical clearance. Where coaching begins, the signed Coaching Agreement governs the professional relationship. Electronic agreements and signatures may be used when that workflow is implemented. Website content remains informational.
Scope of services
Dakota provides fitness, movement, and athletic-development coaching. He does not diagnose injuries, treat medical conditions, provide rehabilitation, cure pain, prevent injury, guarantee return to sport, provide massage therapy, or provide medical nutrition therapy.
Youth terms
Youth coaching requires parent or guardian involvement. Formal scope-of-service, assumption-of-risk, no-guarantee-of-results, and related informed-consent terms for youth athletic development are set out in the Youth Coaching Agreement. Parents or legal guardians should review that agreement before enrollment. General cancellation, messaging, and professional-scope terms in these Coaching Terms also apply unless a written youth package states otherwise.
